Finally got to go to a popular attraction in Jeju! This is Seopjikoji! It was so popular we had problems finding a car space.
Seopjikoji means this place (used to be called Seopji) has a koji (a sudden bump on the land) .
It was the filming location of many korean dramas such as Gingko Bed,” “The Uprising,” “One Thousand and One Nights”…. Which is why it is so popular (maybe).
They also have the popular rapeseed flowers scattered throughout the area and places with flowers and sea is always a win with tourists and photographers.
This is not the bump…. But a smoke signal in warning of danger.
There most exciting thing was seeing the haenyeo 해녀 female drivers emerged from the sea! They should be applauded for the difficult work they do.
Here were cliffs, a lighthouse and even a cafe and zippo museum ( a brand name lighter ).
There were definitely a lot of nice photo opportunities…
Admission is free but parking is not.
And that was Seopjikoji! For those opting to take a bus from Seogwipo, it is bus 701.
Not sure if it is worth it because there were a lot of people…
